Assigning Loop Tests and Forms

The process for Assigning Tests and Forms is outlined below:

Step	Action
1	Navigation: Completions > Work and Job Completions > Loop Testing Loop Testing Tracking Manager.
2	Inspections & Tests by Assets Manager. Loop Testing Tracking Manager - New Button.
3	Press the NEW button. Loop Testing Tracking Manager - Edit Form.
4	Enter in general loop data in the Main Data tab. NOTE: When creating a Loop it is important that you use a good description and a logical Loop ID. Make sure the loop is assigned to a Physical Location and Subsystem. Edit Form - Assets - Edit List.
5	Press ASSIGNMENT button. Edit Form - Planned Tests Tab.
6	If Loop devices are missing > Select EDIT LIST in the ‘Assets’ section. Review the assigned devices (i.e. elements, transmitters, valves), including soft points such as alarms. If there is an item missing, select EDIT LIST to load the “assignment” tool and assign assets and then select the DONE button. NOTE: A general rule of thumb, when finding all components of a loop, they typically have the last 3 to 4 digits. Such as 123-LE-001, 123-LIT-001. For accurate assignments, ALWAYS reference the Loop drawing. Edit Form - Planned Tests - Edit List.
7	Select “Planned Tests” tab < Select EDIT LIST. Form - Planned Tests - Edit List - Assignment Tool.
8	In the ‘General’ search panel, type in “loop” in the task description, press search. Select the appropriate loop test, assign and then select the DONE button. Planned Tests Tab - Loop Task - Edit Button.
9	Select the Loop Task from the Planned Tests List and select the EDIT button. Loop Task Data - Scheduling and Save Button.
	Enter Scheduling data and select the SAVE button. Loop Task Data Form - Close Form Button.
	Close the Loop Task Data Form. Loop Test Tracking Form - Save Button.
	Save the updated Loop Test Tracking Form. Loops Test Tracking Edit Form - Close Form Button.
