Notice of Energization (NOE)
The CE-CCMS Notice of Energizations Manager module is used to manage the administration of NOE’s and associated documentation e.g. exclusion zones, marked-up drawings etc, which will support the safe start up of equipment once Mechanical Completion has been finalized.

Applicant |
The person who is applying to energize the particular System, Sub-System or equipment. The applicant will verify that the Qualified Discipline Technician has made all equipment; safe, isolated and barricaded where appropriate, prior to applying for the NOE. |
Authorized Approver |
A signatory to the NOE, who shall agree and authorize that the equipment to be energized is safe and ready for energization. Authorized Approver can include Construction Supervisor, Operations Superintendent, Lead Discipline Engineer and Commissioning Representative or other appropriate team member deemed competent by the relevant commissioning personnel. |
Commissioning Representative |
A signatory to the NOE, who shall agree and authorize that the equipment detailed in the NOE is safe and ready for energization. Is responsible for informing any Contractors / Sub-contractors who may be working under the requirements of the NOE. Gives input to the Applicant for the NOE when the application for the NOE is made. For Electrical Systems, the Commissioning Representative shall be an Approved Person authorized in writing for the voltage level of the system to be energized. |
CCMS Administrator |
Assists the CCMS Applicant with the NOE by providing an administrative review of all the appropriate documentation. May be the Applicant where deemed appropriate by the relevant commissioning personnel. |
