Assigning Asset Preservation Tasks

The process for Assigning Preservation Tasks by Assets is outlined below:

Navigation:  Completions > Preservation > Preservations by Assets



Asset Preservation Plans Manager.

Asset Preservation Plans Manager.



Asset Preservation Plans Manager - Search Button.

Search for an asset that requires Preservation.


Deselect “Show Preservation Items” 'Yes' checkbox to expand the list of assets that currently do not have any preservation task assigned.


Select the SEARCH button.



Asset Preservation Plans - Select Asset.

Select asset that requires a planned preservation task.



Asset Preservation Plans Manager - Assignment Button.

Press ASSIGNMENT button.



Edit Asset Preservation Plan Form.

Verify Data in “Main Data” tab.


NOTE:  If data needs to be added/updated this can be done by selecting the asset hyperlink from the Asset Preservations Manager.  This will take you to the Asset Edit Form where the data can added/updated.


Enter applicable data in “Receiving” and “Vendor Requirements” tabs.



Edit Asset Preservation Plan Form - Preservation Planned Tasks Tab.

User Search Panel to find appropriate Preservation Tasks (i.e. by asset discipline, or asset type).


Press SEARCH to load the list.


Select Task(s).


ASSIGN.


Select DONE.

Select the Preservation Task from the Preservation Planned Tasks List and select the EDIT button.



Preservation Task Data - Scheduling and Save Button.

Enter Scheduling data and select the SAVE button.



Planned Preservation Tasks Form - Close Form Button.

Close the Planned Preservation Tasks Form.



Asset Preservation Plan Form - Save Button.

Save the updated Asset Preservation Plan Form.



Edit Asset Preservation Plan Form - Close Form Button.

Close the Asset Preservation Plan Edit Form.
