Documents - Batch Editing (ADMINISTRATORS ONLY)

FAQs  |  Feedback

When entering large amounts of data, it is sometimes possible to batch edit records. Batch editing is achievable when records have one or more common attributes.

This process can save enormous amounts of time, but must be done very carefully, as large amounts of data can be manipulated at the push of a button, and changes have a cascading effect across many records. Because of the potential for error, only highly qualified users and administrators have the rights to batch edit data in the CE system.

This tutorial provides the basic principles of how to batch edit. It does not, however, show all the different options available to batch editors. If you have questions, please talk with your supervisor or CE support team.
