Exports

The Export module is designed to bulk export digital data out of the database.  Each view that can be imported can be exported, such as equipment lists, line lists, planned tasks, punchlists etc.  The export function built in CE is intended for system administrators who will define the data to export, filter criteria, frequency of export (e.g. daily, weekly) and location of export (e.g. FTP site or locally on the client browser).  The export will dump out the data in Comma Separated Variable (CSV) format, as standard Microsoft Excel format (.xls or .xlsx) limits the records to 65,000 rows.  Once exported into CSV format, the user can then save the file into an .xls or .xlsx format, but please be aware if the CSV file contains 100,000 records (rows); it will only convert the first 65,000 rows and is a limitation of Excel NOT CE.

• Tag Lists
• Document Lists
• Company & Resources Lists
• Task Lists
• Punchlists
• Handover Packages
• Etc.

NOTE:  Exporting documents and drawings is performed either in the Document and Drawings module or in the Handover Packages (aka Turnover Packages) modules.  The export module is designed to dump raw data only.
