CCMS Production Criticality Analysis (PCA)

FAQs  |  Feedback

Not every area of a project is of equal importance in terms of impact on production or operability of the plant.  It is therefore important that priority is given to those areas that will have the highest impact on plant production.  The Production Criticality Analysis (PCA) allows the project to prioritize the project areas and equipment to assist a successful completion.  Each area and equipment if necessary are given a priority, those with the highest priority are known as the ‘Critical Few’.  The PCA methodology identifies critical systems and equipment, and triggers additional workflow (i.e. FMEA).
