Requires Testing (FIC, ITR,…)? Checkbox.

Select Requires Testing (FIC, ITR,…)?  ‘Yes’ checkbox to expand your search for assets that require testing.

Select Asset.

Select Asset(s).

Press ASSIGNMENT button.

Continuum Edge Assignment Window.

A Continuum Edge Assignment window will open and the user can choose how they would like to assign tasks.

The options are:

• Manual
• Profile
• Auto

'Manual' Assignment.

To assign tasks manually select the 'Manual' button in the Continuum Edge Assignment window.

The Edit Inpsections and Test Forms Completions By Asset window will open.  In the Requires Testing (FIC, ITR,...) section set the "Required Tasks?" boolean to Yes.

Select the Step 2 - Planned Tests tab located at the top of the Edit Inpsections and Test Forms Completions By Asset window.

Select EDIT LIST in the Planned Tests tab to open up the task assignment tool.

Search for required task model(s):  Search > Select Task(s) > Press Assign (Arrow) button > Select DONE.

Use the search panel in the task assignment tool to find appropriate task. This is usually by discipline and asset type.  Select the task and press the ASSIGN (Arrow) button.

Repeat this query method to find assign all associated tasks as required. Select DONE when finished.

NOTE:  Select the Task Name or multi-select holding Control/Shift button down > Press Assign (Arrow) button > Press DONE.

The Task has now been assigned.  Select the SAVE button.

Close the Edit Form.

'Profile' Assignment.

To assign tasks usings a profile select the 'Profile' button in the Continuum Edge Assignment window.

The Edit Inpsections and Test Forms Completions By Asset window will open.  In the Requires Testing (FIC, ITR,...) section set the "Required Tasks?" boolean to Yes.

Select the Step 2 - Planned Tests tab located at the top of the Edit Inpsections and Test Forms Completions By Asset window.

Select EDIT LIST in the Planned Tests tab to open up the task assignment tool.

Select the Search button.

All Task Models that meet the Profile (in this example:  Asset Discipline = Electrical and Asset Type = Motor) will load.

Select the Task Name and press the ASSIGN (Arrow) button.

The Task has now been assigned.  Select the SAVE button.

Close the Edit Form.

'Auto' Assignment.

To auto assign tasks select the 'Auto' button in the Continuum Edge Assignment window.

The Edit Tasks Assignment window will open.

Select the Search button.

All Asset Types for the asset(s) selected will load.  

Select the Assets Types and then the Next button.

The Asset Types Selection window will load.

Select all the Asset Types (with associated Assets, and Task Models) to assign.

Select the Finish button.

All associated tasks are created.

Select the OK button.

The window will close.
