Job Cards Manager Overview

The Job Cards (JC) Manager is designed to manage the assignment and administration of a collection of tasks and/or forms.  



Tasks are combined into a job card where they have common attributes, such as system/subsystem boundaries, project phase/stage and associated workgroup requirements.


At a minimum, a job card should be comprised of task that has common attributes, such as:

A JC can administer using either a “paper based” or digital approach.  The paper approach is more common for technical test forms that include complex tables to fill out.  The paper test forms utilize QR codes (similar to barcode) so they can be easily scanned back into the CCMS and automate upload and completions tracking.  JC test forms are MERGED into one (1) file that can be can be saved or printed.  


The “digital” approach is commonly used for simple “checklist” type of tasks or test forms, which require simple ACCEPT/REJECT type of answers, enter in readings or operating parameters. They are not meant for complex table entries.    



The purpose of the colored bubbles is to provide a quick status on a Job Card.  It is designed to provide users the understanding if a JC has been printed or associated tasks are complete.
