Task Model Reports

The process for generating custom Task Model Reports is outlined below:

 Step

  Action

 1

Generating Reports:  Generating Task Model reports is a simple process.  Unless the search or browse panels are used to query the list of task models, any report selected will load a report with all task models, excluding deleted task models.

There are two (2) options to extract a list of task models from CE. The first is to generate a PDF report, simply select the PDF icon or Hyperlink (report name with underline). The other is to generate an export into MS Excel format with a flat list of the data found on the desired report.  The export DOES NOT show all the possible Task Model fields, only the fields associated with the desired report.  To access all fields associated with Task Models, the export module would be used, specifically against the vTaskModels export view.

Summary reports provide counts by category, and Index reports are list reports showing each task model record.

To export a task model list, select the desired report then select the fields needed.  The “Summary” fields are the concatenation of the field name + description. In the case shown below, if Category (summary) was selected, it would show the category associated with each task model.  If a user only wanted just the abbreviation for the category, they would select the category name.   Remember, a “Summary Field” is the concatenation of a name + description and is needed in various field imports/exports to be accurately link content to reference tables.   If you need more information, please contact your system administrator.
